Wellington Cruise or Event to be held on Sunday 21st March, 2010.
I have designed this so that people can do everything or just one part of the event.
Meeting at Cafe L'Affare at 27 College Street, Wellington from 10.00am for coffee/breakfast/brunch - http://www.laffare.co.nz
Depart promptly at 11.00am on an approximate 100km Novelty Trial (where you will get to answer some challenging questions) ending up at Southwards Car Museum at about 1.00pm. http://www.thecarmuseum.co.nz/
Results and prize giving in the carpark (yes there will be a winner and a prize) once everyone has arrived.
Followed by optional tour of the Museum and/or more food at the Museum Cafe for those of you that will be hungry by then. Or you can even have a look at the Model Boats on the Lake event happening at the Museum the same day.
Then free to head for home at your leisure.
So that I have an idea of who wants to do what parts of the event, please reply and confirm your attendance.
And if your Zed is not going, that is no excuse - please join us anyway.
After comments at our last gathering in Petone, we request that this time wives/partners are cajoled in to attending too! You will need a navigator!

For those who have been following Welly Z owners attempts to get together for a couple of casual drives, there's a mini truck club meeting this Saturday. It's not Zs, it's not Z club organised, but it's oldskool rides and I know a couple of people with Dattos - C20s and stuff that might go along (myself included). Maybe see you there?
Mini trucking meet is the 6th of dec at ed juiner custom rides in lower hutt:

Could be a laugh.

| Is it Saturday or Sunday? Sunday is the 6th. I won't be there as if the weather is fine the Intermarque Sprints at Manfield will be where I am. |

| will be good to catch up wikedz is off the road at the moment getting a new head and fabbing up a new intake manifold from one djz gave me to chop up. shedding some weight, new turbo oil pump, finally got my 4 pot callipers on just sorting what kind of rotor will be best to use. was hoping to get the sc14 supercharger on by taupo track day but not sure if that will happen have run in to a few problems with pipeing, hence the new manifold. and looking at bigger sway bays from usa. |

BIG thanks to Mark and Sue - the Ed Juniors Open Day was awesome.
This is one everyone should keep an eye out for next year. There were hundreds of cars - mostly Hotrods and American Muscle but even my scrappy old 240Z got loads of attention - because it was the only Datto there!
The team put on drinks, food, workshop displays, there was even a dance club. It was an excellent day out. Highly recommended for car lovers of all kinds.

Sounds good Nick,
I saw quite a few Hot Rods and Mini Trucks heading towards Wellington as I was heading north to Manfeild yesterday. Will do my best to make it next year. |

I'll be there, with Viv.
Do the clues include a stop in at the workshop, as my car will not be ready (sigh), but worth stopping to have a look at progress?
